VCD hack for LG5183

On the LG5183, I've tried the VCD hack found on this message board (3472), key in 1, 4, 7, 2, up 3 times, program 6,program 5 etc. This didn't work on my machine, when the characters 04 FE appear, I get 01 FE. I've tried pressing stop first but this hasn't worked either. Any ideas?
