to play other regions....

When disc is 'Loading', keep pressing 1.
This will bypass the region lock and take you straight to chapter 1.

Unfortunately this is poor in two ways. the first is that you lose all control of the player except volume and on/off.

The second is that if you have more than one menu, such as a language menu, then you will not be able to get past it and will be stuck that far....

But it works on all DVDs. If you manage to find any other cheats for it, pease let me know.
