Try with this (I have one LG 7811N and it works fine)
In the remote control:
1. Press the "Stop" button.
2. Press the "Pause" button.
3. Key in "314159"
4. Press "0" when you see "Region code" on the display.
5. Press the "Pause" button.
6. Switch off the player.
7. Switch on again. It works!
