: I have a KLH DVD stand alone DVD player (model number 221) and the unit has a problem and I was wondering if someone has experienced the same problem and have a fix for it. When I insert regular DVD’s that are purchased from the store the DVD player will not recognize them. After inserting the DVD, the motor will spin and the optical lens will scan for about 1 second and than stop. The DVD will keep spinning and the optical lens will stop. Also the CD picture on the LCD display will stop, it will just freeze. The DVD player will remain like this until I turn the power off or press the standby button. However, the DVD player will play SVCD flawlessly, without problem. I have tried cleaning the optical lens, with no luck. Can anyone help me solve this problem? Thank you in advance, feedback.
