SVCD

do steps 1 to 3 as for VCD

do step 4 as for VCD but this time change it to the 7th number from the left (second from right). this value is probably 00

everywhere I looked it says change this val to FE but really you just need to change it to 10.

do this simply by pressing 1, 0 then enter.

if you want NTSC progressive scan press 1,4 instead though this will only work i think if you have component video input on your TV.otherwise the screen will go green or yellow. (this is an american standard not compatible with RGB)
