DVD 25 problems

I am fed up with the DVD25 from Harman Kardon. On the face of it, a decent player, BUT, it has a serious problem with the firmware upgrade procedure (happened to me and lots of others on this list). For reasons unknown, it may lock up and there is NO way to reset it. The only way is to dump it in the trashbin. HK will try to blame you and will not replace it nor fix it even under warranty. By the way I ve found a way (not cheap) to fix the machine, e-mail me if you want details.

Last but not least there is no region free code for the machine.

IN SHORT, STAY AWAY FROM IT!
