okay, i burned an mpeg to a cd, got hold of the vcd hack you posted with the highest of high hopes. i put in a music cd, took it out, and popped in my vcd. alas, no joy. i pressed menu and 5 and waited for stop to appear... but ti no avail. the message that appeared on my screen was 'no disc'. and that was pretty much the end of my vcd experience. Is it a problem with the disc i burned or do you think i'm heading about the hack and its application the wrong way?
