Philips DVD-R 880 Macrovision Code Wanted

Does anyone know of a macrovision code that will work for the Philips DVD-R 880? I've just purchased the recorder and tried converting some VHS tapes to DVD. Because some of the tapes are old and damaged, the DVD recorder is cutting the information off whenever lines appear on the screen. This is apparently because of the macrovision. PLEASE E-MAIL ME :-(
