: There is a remote hack - I've just brought one of these and saw the shop owner convert to multiregion in front of my eyes - and it plays RCE disks!! Unfortunately I couldn't see what he did in exact detail, but it looked like: power on holding stop on the unit and turning up the volume on the unit. After about 5 secs the engineer menu appears. He then got a remote (he said it was special, but it looked like a mutli system remote to me) and entered 1234 or 12345 (sorry, couldn't see which). The screen then said something like data rewritten!. He then powered off and on and it works like a beaut!

: No guarentees .. no comeback. But let me know if you can get this to work
